The History of Green-kits
The Green-kit cleaning products line was started as a direct response to our family's desire to go green. We'd been using non-toxic cleaners for years, but always thought a kit would be most convenient. During the development of our line of kits, we tried countless sprays, creams, soaps, and paper products, and compiled those that worked the hardest, covered the different purposes needed in an average household, and complemented each other.
Grocery bags are fashionable too. In developing our line of reusable grocery totes, we came to realize that it is important to have a nice matching set of bags. It makes us feel good. It makes us feel chic. Our exclusive designs were developed for their simplicity, their aesthetic, and their ability to start a conversation. And they usually do.
Our Commitment
We are committed to providing only the highest quality, hardest working, greenest products available. What good is using green cleaning products if they don't work - and work well? And packaging is important to us too - shipping cartons and package fill is recycled and/or biodegradable. This costs a bit more than conventional packaging, but we think it's worth it. Packaging is also minimal to avoid unnecessary waste. Shipping in kits (instead of individual products) uses less fossil fuel. In cooperation with TerraPass and courtesy of Green-kits, every order we ship is 100% carbon neutral.
We hope once these kits are out of our hands and into yours, that you will continue the process.
Creature Comforts
We're also dedicated to providing a portion of our profits each quarter to the ASPCA. We hope that our donations will help furry ones everywhere. We donated 10% of our profits in 2007 to ASPCA and local SPCA chapters!
